The Unicorn, a true gem, has a past as
exciting as its future. The Unicorn had its beginnings in
music and that spirit continues today. This place has everything.
If you are looking for a fun comfortable place with lots

Will Millar, a founding member of the
Irish Rovers opened the pub in January 1981.Crockery, brass
fixtures, carpeting and wooden beams were imported from
England to create an authentic pub.
The pub was named after the Irish Rovers
mega hit "The Unicorn". A quarter of a century
later this song is still heard on radio stations and in
pubs all over the world.
To quote Will Millar from an article published
at that time "Pubs were originally created as places
where musicians, artists and writers could congregate and
talk…" hence an Irish public or free house.
Music is still at the heart of this pub.
Check out the walls for cool memorabilia from the 1980s.
A great place for a cold mug of ale by a crackling fireplace.

The "Singers and Song Writers Circle"
is held on Sunday night. Two guest artists are featured
along with 3 of their 5 regular performers. The level of
talent is truly amazing. The show starts at 7:00PM. be

hosted by the wonderful trio "The Zoo". Thursday
night is hosted by Mike Barnes a gifted singer songwriter.
Mike is well known for his intelligent heart felt music.
Friday and Saturday nights enjoy live music from the top
40s. The music is always high energy. Join us on our dance
floor.
HAVE SOME FUN ON KARAOKE NIGHT EVERY MONDAY
Have a blast singing your heart out. Half
the fun is just participating. This is a great stress releaser
so come and woo your lover or make like a rock/ and/ roll
star. Karaoke, believed to have originated at a snack bar
in Japan, means empty orchestra. Singing at parties has
a long tradition in Japan and every one did it just for
the fun of it. The singers who could not sing were enjoyed
as much as the ones who could. We
are talking some serious comic relief here.
DARTS ON TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAYS

check out the Dart League. If you don't think this is a
popular game there are more pubs with dartboards in the
center of New York than there are in London. Some dart scholars
think the Irish brought the game to America at the turn
of the century. There is evidence that Native Americans
and even cavemen were playing a version of this game long
